Prateik gets ready for a Bengali play

Prateik Babbar, who forayed into theatre with Six, is all set to be part of a Bengali play. The actor, incidentally made his Bengali film debut with Saurav Chakraborty’s  socio-political drama, Auroni Taukhon. Now, it will be Bengali theatre for the son of Raj Babbar and Late Smita Patil.The details of the play haven’t been revealed yet though.

Says Prateik, “The encouraging response that I received for my play has given me the confidence to explore the medium further. Since I have done a Bengali film earlier, I am familiar with the language.”

Prateik, played a gay in Jeff Goldberg’s Six, which was a take on LB Hamilton’s one-act play, Midnight Clear.
