Raj Kapoor’s grandson all set to be launched by Aditya Chopra

Aadar Jain

Be it Anushka Sharma or Ranveer Singh or Parineeti Chopra or Arjun Kapoor, Yash Raj talent has successfully launched careers of many actors who have gone on to become big stars. With each actor from this family carving his own space across cinema, Aadar Jain, grandson of film legend Raj Kapoor, trained at the Lee Strasburg Theatre and Film Institute and who has been an assistant director to Karan Johar, will be launched by Aditya Chopra for his debut. Aadar is the legend’s daughter Rima’s son.

Shanoo Sharma, the casting director of Yash Raj Films, said, “When I met Aadar Jain for the first time,  I found that he had a very infectious personality. I sensed that a person with such energy will have a certain amount of talent. I am glad that things have worked out so well. Aadar is set to create his own groove.”

Aadar will probably make his debut in a film by Habib Faisal who also launched Arjun Kapoor in Ishaqzaade . Mint fresh pairing and young energy onscreen promise this to be a much awaited beginning onscreen.

Adar follows in the footsteps of his illustrious cousins Karisma, Kareena and Ranbir. Quite a big legacy to inherit.Adar’s brother Armaan was launched in the musical Lekar Hum Deewana Dil in 2014.
