Japanese version of Om Shanti Om releases, while Farah relaxes in Austria

Farah Khan

January 9, is always a special day for the film industry especially, for friends of Farah Khan. Almost the whole film fraternity comes together to celebrate Farah’s birthday. But this time, the choreographer-turned-filmmaker celebrated a quite birthday at the Viva Mayr Detox Spa in Austria. Located in the Corinthian Alps of Austria, Farah had different plans to go on a digital and physical detox at the centre.

For Farah, it was also a double bonanza as the Japanese musical remake of her directorial venture Om Shanti Om released in Japan recently. Om Shanti Om in Hindi starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Having been on her toes all this while, she required a much-needed rest and hence the decision to travel to Austria and celebrate her special day at the spa.
