Team Raees is riding high on the film’s success. The Rahul Dholakia-directed film has already entered the Rs 100-crore club in India. To celebrate the audience response to the film, the team came together last night in Mumbai to thank the fans for their overwhelming support. Present were Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sunny Leone, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and the director.

Celebrations were arranged in full swing, with a suburban five-star hotel in Mumbai turning into a mohalla from Raees.  While, customised Raees decor graced the ambience, it was the resonating tunes of the film that added to the mood of Daawat-e-Raees. A 22-feet-tall cut out of SRK’s Raees pose welcomed the guests. Fake liquor barons and crates, were other features of the party. The team also looked into intricate details and laid a lavish daawat for their guests. The menu had delicacies like Raees galouti on ulte tawe ka paratha, Dhingana paneer tikka, Zaalima pulav counter and Laila’s crispy chilly potatoes with green onions among others.

The event kick-started with the team entering in a jeep. The stars also addressed the media and thanked the audiences for all the love and appreciation. An evening of informal meet and greets followed, with the guests tasting the tremendous success of Raees with the team.
