Action star back doing what he loves

Vidyut Jammwal

We all know action and Vidyut Jammwal are two sides of the same coin. And the trailer of Commando 2 starring the actor in the lead is creating waves thanks to some unbelievable stunts performed by the super-fit actor.

Vidyut takes his action notches higher as he graduates from a commando in the prequel to an international spy, Karanvir Singh Dogra, who is on a mission to eradicate black money in Commando 2. The trailer has crossed 10 million views already. Says producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, “I am more than satisfied with the response to the trailer. It has taken the internet by storm. Most pleasing is that the audience is loving the mix of action, romance and humour. I can confidently say that the action done by Vidyut can’t be done even by James Bond. Only Vidyut can do this and Indians should be proud that our Bond is beating the original Bond.”

Director, Deven Bhojani shares, “This being my first film, I was a little nervous before the trailer launch, but now I am super excited since the response to the trailer is phenomenal. People are raving about the action and the scale of the movie. Vidyut has set a new bar of Action, which may not be easy to surpass in near future.”

Vidyut’s chemistry with his leading ladies Adah Sharma and Esha Gupta is also being talked about. There is also an element of humour in the trailer, especially by Adah’s character, Bhavna Reddy, who entertains with her one-liners and Hyderabadi accent. The film is slated to release on March 3.
