When a Manipur cemetery moved the Rangoon director

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj does extensive research whenever he makes a film. And for Rangoon, he traveled extensively across the north-east for location hunting. During the process, he came across a huge cemetery in Manipur. It had the bodies of  Indian soldiers who died during the Second World War. So, moved was Vishal, that he included it in the film to make people aware of the sacrifice of our brave soldiers.

Rangoon is a period drama set in the Second World War and stars Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapur in the lead.
