Old numbers remixed and included in Bollywood films is not a new phenomenon. In recent times, films like Raees, Kaabil, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and others have paid tributes to old hits. And now the news is, Abbas-Mustan’s Machine will recreate the Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast number from Mohra (1994). To recall, Mohra starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon along with Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal in important roles. The film was directed by Rajiv Rai. The song composed by Viju Shah was crooned by Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy and was picturised on Akshay, Raveena and Paresh.

Mustafa, who is debuting with Machine, will be dancing with Kiara Advani in a modern version of the song to be sung by Narain and Neha Kakkar. The song will be shot in the setup of a club and Mustafa will sport dark glasses like Akshay. The director duo said that Akshay  would be the first one to see the song once made. The dance number will be choreographed by Bosco Martis. The film releases on March 24.
