Amitabh Bachchan and Amit Sadh in Sarkar 3

Did you know, Amitabh Bachchan who plays Subhash Nagre in Sarkar 3, was instrumental in getting Amit Sadh on board for the film? It has been revealed that Big B did recommend Amit’s name to the director Ram Gopal Varma. Amit who has been cast as Shivaji Nagre, the arrogant grandson of Nagre Senior, went to meet the director after Big B put in a word.

Bachchan was confident that Amit was best suited for the role. Says Amit, “I was extremely pumped when I got a call from RGV Sir’s office to play the character. Sarkar 3 is one of the most exciting films I’ve worked on!! I am very fortunate enough to have worked with Mr Bachchan and it has been a great learning experience!” The buzz is that Amit’s character is inspired from Shiv Sena scion, Aditya Thackeray.

The film slated to release on April 7, also stars Ronit Roy, Manoj Bajpayee, Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam and Rohini Hattangadi in important roles.
