Trapped set for profit at the box-office

Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane’s survival drama, Trapped  that released on March 17, is doing good business in its third week. Starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead, the film made on a budget of Rs 2.5 crore has already reached the Rs 3 crore-mark at the box-office. According to a source, with impressive digital and satellite rights, it will make reasonable profit as it is set to enter the fourth week.

An industry source says, “Trapped was released only in 300 screens with very limited publicity, but with strong content and a positive word of mouth, the movie has entered its third week and will most probably play in its fourth week also.”
