Shruti Haasan and Rajkummar Rao who are currently busy with Behen Hogi Teri, will soon be shooting a romantic song in the Lucknow metro. The Metro, in the Uttar Pradesh capital, will get operational this year and has been making trial runs in the city. It will also make its debut on screen with the film that releases on May 26.
Amul Vikas Mohan, one of the producers of the film said, “The story of our film is set in Lucknow so we want to incorporate as many elements of the city as possible in our film. Our film will release in May 2017 and the Metro will also start in Lucknow this year. So we wanted to be the first ones to capitalise on this and show the Lucknow Metro in a film.” And he added, “The song is about a young urban couple whose romance has just started to bloom. It’s a romantic number composed by Rishi Rich, the England based Indian music composer. The music has the Lucknow flavour, a perfect blend of urban and traditional.”
Behen Hogi Teri directed by Ajay K Pannalal, also stars Gulshan Grover and Ranjeet in major roles.
